How do I measure for a Custom Outdoor Sofa Chair Cover (Armless)?

This guide explains how to measure your armless outdoor sofa chair for a custom-fitted Kuvr® Outdoor Chair Cover, including each required measurement, where to take it, and how to record it accurately. There are 5 measurements to take, labelled A to E.

The measurements

A — Total width

The overall width of the chair at its widest, measured straight across.

B — Total depth

The overall front-to-back depth of the chair at its deepest.

C — Total height

The vertical height from the floor to the top of the backrest.

D — Depth from top of cushion to rear

The horizontal depth from the front edge of the seat cushion back to the rear of the chair.

E — Height to top of seat

The vertical height from the floor to the top of the seat cushion.

Frequently asked questions

Which outdoor chair guide should I use?

Pick the guide that matches your chair — bar chair, office chair, recliner, rocking chair, sofa chair, stool, egg chair or a stack of chairs — then match the detail where the guide offers a choice, such as with arms or armless. Choose the closest shape.

Do I measure with the cushions in place?

Yes. Measure in centimetres, inches, or metres — you choose your preferred unit when you configure the cover. Keep the same unit throughout.
