How do I measure for a Custom Curved Sectional Sofa Cover (Horseshoe)?
This guide explains how to measure your horseshoe curved sectional sofa for a custom-fitted Kuvr® Outdoor Sofa Cover, including each required measurement, where to take it, and how to record it accurately. There are 11 measurements to take, labelled A to K.
Important
Provide exact measurements with no extra allowance added. Kuvr® adds a standard tolerance of +25 mm (1 in) to the width and depth for a comfortable fit; no allowance is added to the height. You can measure in centimetres, inches, or metres — you choose your preferred unit when you configure the cover.
Please include photos
Photos of your horseshoe curved sectional sofa, taken from a few angles alongside your measurements, help us understand the exact shape and get your cover right from the outset — curved sofas vary a lot, so photos are especially valuable here. Including a tape measure in shot for scale is ideal.

The vertical height from the floor to the top of the arm.

Frequently asked questions
How do I measure a curved length?
Run a flexible tape measure — or a length of string — along the curve itself, following its shape from one end to the other, then read off the length. Don’t measure in a straight line across; the curve is always longer.
Do I measure with the cushions in place?
Yes. Measure the sofa exactly as it will sit when covered, with the seat and back cushions in their normal positions.
My sofa is modular — should I measure each section?
Measure the whole configuration as one assembled piece, as it will be covered. Give the overall dimensions plus the curve lengths shown in the diagram rather than the size of each individual module.
Can I measure in inches?
Yes. Measure in centimetres, inches, or metres — you choose your preferred unit when you configure the cover. Keep the same unit throughout.
