What is KuvrPlus?
KuvrPlus is our optional care plan. It extends the standard warranty on your cover — so you're protected for longer, without changing anything about how your cover is made or used.
Every Kuvr cover comes with a standard warranty included, at no extra cost. KuvrPlus is there for people who want longer-term peace of mind, particularly on covers that live outdoors year-round.
What KuvrPlus does
It extends your warranty period for the fabric you've chosen. In most cases, it roughly doubles it:

NylonSafe® is our premium waterproof fabric for residential and light-commercial use. PVCArmour® is our heavy-duty waterproof fabric for high-exposure and commercial use. Both use HydroLok® seam sealing — seams are stitched and then sealed internally so water can't get in through the stitch lines. Flexi 30 and Ultra 50 are our clear PVC fabrics for screens.
What KuvrPlus covers
KuvrPlus covers exactly what your standard warranty covers — just for longer. That's:
- Fabric degradation
- Seam failure
- Manufacturing defects
It doesn't add new categories of cover. It extends the length of time you're protected against the things that are already covered. For the full detail of what's included and excluded, see our Warranty Terms & Conditions.
What KuvrPlus doesn't change
KuvrPlus is coverage, not a different product. It doesn't change:
- How your cover is made — same fabric, same HydroLok® sealed seams, same build.
- How you use or care for it — the care instructions are the same.
- What counts as a valid claim — the exclusions in the standard warranty still apply (normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, and so on).
How much does KuvrPlus cost?
KuvrPlus is a one-off cost added to your order. The price varies depending on the cover and fabric — you'll see the exact price on the product page when you add it, before you pay.
When can I add KuvrPlus?
You can add KuvrPlus in two ways:
- When you configure your cover — it appears as an option before you check out.
- After you've bought — you can still add it within 30 days of your purchase. To add it after checkout, contact our team through our contact form.
Is KuvrPlus right for me?
KuvrPlus makes the most sense if:
- Your cover stays outdoors all year, through every season.
- You've chosen a cover for a high-exposure spot — coastal, exposed, or in constant use.
- You'd simply rather have the longest protection available and not think about it again.
If your cover is used occasionally, or stored away for much of the year, the standard warranty may be all you need. Either way, you're covered — KuvrPlus just extends how long for.
Common questions
Does KuvrPlus renew?
No. It's a one-off extension of your warranty period, not a subscription.
Can I add it later if I change my mind?
Yes, within 30 days of your purchase. After that, the standard warranty period applies.
Is KuvrPlus transferable?
No. KuvrPlus stays with your original order and the original purchaser. If you sell the item your cover protects and the cover goes with it, the extended coverage doesn't carry over to the new owner.
Can I get a refund on KuvrPlus?
Yes, within 30 days of adding it — as long as you haven't made a claim under it. After that, the KuvrPlus fee is non-refundable. If your whole order is refunded because of a fault on our part, any KuvrPlus fee is refunded with it.
