When it comes to securing the base of one of our custom outdoor furniture covers, you've got two options — a drawstring or eyelets. This short video shows both.
What the video covers
Our standard base fixing is a drawstring, which feeds through miniature eyelets and runs around the base of the cover — usually two drawstrings, one at each corner, so you can pull the cover snug underneath.
The alternative is eyelets, fitted with aluminium pop rivets in place of the drawstring. It's an either/or choice — whichever suits how you want to secure your cover.

Okay, so our standard method for securing the base of our outdoor furniture covers is a drawstring like this. And you can see the drawstring feeds through some miniature eyelets and runs all the way through the base of this cover. There's generally two drawstrings, one on each corner of the cover, as you can see here. So that is the standard option.
Now, we have no problem fitting eyelets, as you can see here — so this is another solution, using aluminium pop rivets, and these fit in place of the drawstring. So it's an either/or situation when it comes to fitting eyelets or the drawstring, as you can see here.
